Delegates head to MTS

The 41st annual Mountain Travel Symposium, MTS, starts in Colorado, USA, on Saturday. It is one of the largest snowsport industry gatherings and sees delegate from across the world. NEW

It will be the biggest MTS to date with more than 1,000 delegates from 38 countries attending the event in the ski resort of Keystone.

They come from US, Canada, Central America, South America, the UK, Europe, China, South Korea, Russia, and Japan

It sees sellers (resorts, hotels, ski schools and other supliers) meet up with buyers (travel agents, tour operators, meeting planners, ski clubs).

1,000s of meetings take place with 100s of deals sealed.

There are also a number of industry forums where topical issues affecting all aspects of the worldwide snowsports industry are discussed.

There will be participants from Google, Facebook, Airbnb, LeisureLink, Phocuswright, and DestiMetrics.

Topics range from direct vs. third-party distribution and women's leadership issues to mobile and social media sales and summer business trends.
