Razorlight cancels Val d'Isere gig
Friday December 12, 2008 - Email this article to a friend

Sadly the lead singer has tonsilitis and so the band has had to pull out of this weekend's concert.

The group, the fans and the resort are all disappointed but a spokeswoman for the resort, Jane Jaquemod, told us that it is just one of those things.

The Anglo-Swedish band that was formed in London in 2002 was due to be in town as part of the celebrations surrounding the Premier Neige in the French resort.

The band was set to play in the town centre at 6.30 on saturday, but illness struck down singer/writer Johnny Borrell.

The French electro/rock band Marylyn will now headline the concert instead.

We at PlanetSKI last saw Razorlight at the Isle of Wight festival, in much warmer weather, and they were great.

Still peraps they'll be able to re-schedule the gig sometime.
