MountainTracks is running a 4-week ski mountaineering adventure in China to climb Muztagh Ata.

Have you got the itch for a fresh adventure?

The great ski peak is 7,546m high and has a reasonable ascent.

- A climb on snow and ice, the elevation is never more than 40 degrees.

Muztagh Ata is in the Pamir Mountain Range close to the borders of China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

Do you have:

  • A high level of fitness
  • Experience of arduous treks or expeditions at high altitudes
  • Experience of multi day glacier skiing carrying a heavy pack

PWhether your new to off-piste skiing, are intermediate and want to improve or a strong skier that is looking to get some tips from top level instructors, MountainTracks covers all the above:

Off-piste intro courses are being run in Sainte Foy in the French Alps.

Intermediates can sign up to a trip to the Aosta Valley's Gressoney.

Or head to Zinal for an advanced course with MountainTracks. 
And of course skiing off piste means understanding more about the mountain:

Sessions on mountain safety and avalanche awareness courses are included.
