CLUNKS AND CRASHES IN RUSSIA!
Monday November 20, 2017 - Email this article to a friend

Russia has had its first heavy snowfall in recent days and the streets are attracting spectators as cars slither and slide on sheet ice. NEW

We all expect heavy snow in Russia.

But it's not the crunch of crisp snow underfoot that is attracting attention after the recent snowfall, but more the crunch and clunk of metal as cars bump together on some lethal roads.

We came across some slippery situations in Vladivostok, where the streets hadn't been sufficiently gritted, if at all.

Either way, the short videos below have a funny side, as the cars and trucks slide down the streets.

It appears there were over 200 car accidents reported on the icy roads of Russia’s town, Vladivostok, within 24 hours of it's first heavy snowfall of the winter.

Apart from dented cars and dented pride, we couldn't see any damage to the unsuspecting locals as they dodged the cars.

Locals however, took to social media to share some of the funnier moments.

One message is clear folks....  it's time for winter tyres.

Possibly quicker to walk as the snow hampers progress on the roads!
